Miss Bruno has been teaching at Bear Creek since she graduated from Lakehead University in 2003. She joined the Faculty of Arts in 2005 when dance classes still took place in the classroom behind the stage!. Miss Bruno currently holds a Specialist in Dance, a Specialist in Special Education, with a degree in both English and History. Miss Bruno constantly tries to bring new and engaging opportunities to her students through field trips and guest choreographers and special class projects in a safe, welcome, and creative environment (the beautiful new Dance Studio in the new wing of the school!). Miss Bruno has been the coach of the Bear Creek Dance Team for 8 years. She has also been the choreographer for Anne of Green Gables, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, FAME, and HONK! (musicals performed at BCSS, not on BROADWAY ;o)). Miss Bruno has also coached both girls and boys soccer teams at Bear Creek. She has also been mistaken on several occasions for being Rachel from GLEE. So, she's now taken on the role of "the Rachel of Bear Creek" (mostly self-proclaimed...but she hears the whispers in the hallway!) She is excited and honoured to be the Chair of the most creative, fun, and quirky Faculty of Arts! Go Kodiaks!
